Rear view mirror cameras: 4K front, 1080P rear
Shopping for a dashcam or rear view mirror camera in Canada? CAMPIR HS-12 and S-17 combine a mirror display with 4K front recording and an included 1080P rear camera. Compare both models below; each includes Wi-Fi and a 128GB memory card.
CLEAR COVERAGE, CLEAN INSTALLATION
How does a rear view mirror camera work?
A mirror dash cam places a wide display over the existing rear-view mirror instead of adding another small screen to the windshield. It gives the driver a familiar viewing position while recording useful video from both directions. The included rear camera can also provide a live rear view on the mirror display.
Connect through the VIIDURE app to review and download clips without removing the memory card.
Each model arrives with a compatible 128GB memory card, avoiding a separate card purchase for initial setup.

DASH CAM BUYING GUIDE
What matters when comparing dash cams?
Video detail
Higher-resolution front video helps preserve useful detail in changing traffic and light. Both CAMPIR mirror models record 4K at the front and pair it with a 1080P rear view.
Rear camera and mirror display
A front-only camera records just one direction. A separate rear camera adds context behind the vehicle and can support a clearer live rear view through the mirror display.
Reliable storage
Dash cams write video repeatedly, so compatible storage matters. CAMPIR includes a 128GB memory card with both models and provides setup and troubleshooting guidance through the Support Centre.
Review recordings on your phone
Wi-Fi lets a phone connect directly to the camera. The VIIDURE app can be used to view recordings and download a clip when it is needed.
